Evaluation Metrics
Each submission to ISOC will be assigned to a colloquium and will be evaluated by two Colloquium Co-Chairs (CCCs). When a submission does not naturally fit in a single colloquium, CCCs from multiple colloquia could be assigned (still limited to two CCCs). The four-page paper will be evaluated using the rubric given below.

-
Technical soundness (25%): Based on the information provided in the methods and approaches, comparison of the approaches/methods used to state-of-the-art in that sub-discipline and rigor in the construction of the study.
-
Originality and novelty (25%): Based on the author-provided statement of novelty and the contents of the paper, the innovation with respect to state-of-the-art will be evaluated.
-
Significance (25%): Based on the author-provided statement of significance of the work, and the contents of the paper, the relevance to current topics in combustion will be evaluated.
-
Quality of results and discussion (25%): The short paper should consider key results that will be used to assess the quality of the study, as well as for inferring novelty and significance.

The authors should prepare the four-page manuscript in such a way that the evaluation team is able to provide an informed score on these metrics.
